জয়পুরহাটে অবৈধভাবে ধান মজুদ রাখায় ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালতে ৪ চাতাল ব্যবসায়িকে ৫৫  হাজার টাকা জরিমানা (BnewsO)

জয়পুরহাটের কালাই উপজেলার পাঁচশিরা ও হাতিয়র  বাজারে অভিযান চালিয়ে সরকারি নির্দেশ অমান্য করে অবৈধভাবে খাদ্য শস্য (ধান) মজুদ রাখার দায়ে  ৪ চাতাল ব্যবসায়ির ৫৫  হাজার টাকা জরিমানা  করেছেন ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালতের এক্সিকিউটিভ ম্যাজিষ্ট্রেট  মো.মোবারক হোসেন।

কালাই উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা ও নির্বাহী ম্যাজিট্রেট মো.মোবারক হোসেন জানান, সরকারি বিধি মোতাবেক কোনো অনুমোদিত চাতাল মালিকগণ  ধান অধিক সময় ধরে অবৈধভাবে মজুদ রাখলে তা আইনত দন্ডনীয় অপরাধ হিসেবে গণ্য হবে । তাই অবৈধভাবে খাদ্য শস্য (ধান) মজুদ রাখায় ৪ প্রতিষ্ঠানকে ৫৫ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করাসহ গোডাউনে থাকা সকল ধান বর্তমান মূল্যে দ্রুত বিক্রির আদেশ দেয়া হয়েছে।

নিয়মিত বাজার মনিটরিং ও খাদ্য শস্যর বাজার দর ঠিক রাখতে এই ধরনের অভিযান করা হয়েছে।

আইনের সুষ্ট প্রয়োগ, খাদ্যাভাব দূরীকরন ও মানুষের মনে শান্তি ফিরিয়ে আনতে এই ধরনের অভিযান অব্যাহত রাখতে দৃঢ় প্রতিবদ্ধ কালাই উপজেলা প্রশাসন।

এ সময়ে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন  কালাই উপজেলা খাদ্যগুদামের ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা মো.ফারুক আলমগীরসহ থানা পুলিশ ও স্থানীয় গণমাধ্যমকর্মীরা।

Mobile court fines 55,000 rupees for illegally stockpiling paddy in Joypurhat

 (Binaujo) Executive Magistrate of the mobile court Md Mubarak Hossain has fined Tk 55,000 to four traders for illegally stockpiling food grains (paddy) by disobeying government orders by raiding Panchshira and Hatiyar markets in Kalai upazila of Joypurhat.

 Kalai Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Md. Mubarak Hossain said that according to the government rules, if any approved Chatal owners keep stockpiling paddy illegally for a long time, it will be considered as a criminal offense.  Therefore, 4 companies have been fined Tk 55,000 for illegally stockpiling food grains (paddy) and all the paddy in the godown has been ordered to be sold at the current price.

 Such campaigns have been carried out to monitor the market regularly and keep the market price of food grains in order.

 The Kalai Upazila administration is determined to continue such campaigns to restore law and order, food security and peace in the minds of the people.

 Police and local media personnel including Officer-in-Charge of Kalai Upazila Food Warehouse Md. Farooq Alamgir were also present at the time.
